Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 28, 2023
This is an official Stern Army and IFPA sanctioned event.
Date: Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Location: ULEKstore's Pinball and Classic Arcade
2121 N Monroe St., Monroe, MI 48162
(located inside of the Mall of Monroe)
Time: Doors to the arcade will open at 9am, our tournament will start promptly at 11:00am. Please be to the arcade and signed up at least 15 minutes in advance to ensure that we start up on time.
Fee: $10.00 plus coin drop. 100% of the $10 paid by each player will be paid out to the top players! (Please see below for the breakdown of payouts) ULEKstore's Pinball and Classic Arcade will be covering everyone's $1.00 IFPA fees for this tournament.
Format: This will be a timed tournament. We will play from 11am until 3:30pm. NO NEW ROUNDS will start after 3:30pm
All of the qualifying rounds will have IFPA scoring of 7/5/3/1 (groups of 4) or 7/4/1 (in groups of 3).
Finals: After the qualifying rounds have been completed, the top 12 seeds will compete in A, B and C Division Finals. The finals will be in a PAPA style format, where the top seed from each division will get to either pick the games or order. Each division will pick 3 games with scoring of 4,2,1,0. After the 3 rounds are over, the highest total score of all 3 games determines the winner of that division, second highest score is the second place finisher... and so on.
A-Division will consist of players 1 - 4 and will play in a best of 3 games finals format.
1st Place- 25% of eprize pool + A Division Trophy
2nd Place- 15% of prize pool
3rd Place - 10% of prize pool
B-Division will consist of players 5 - 8 and will play in a best of 3 games finals format.
1st Place - 15% of prize pool + B Division Trophy
2nd Place - 10% of prize pool
3rd Place - 5% of the prize pool
C-Divison will consist of players 9 - 12 and will play in a best of 3 games finals format.
1st Place - 10% of prize pool + C Division Trophy
