Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 29, 2023
Help us celebrate the launch of our newest game at this Stern Army event! This will be a Group Match Play tournament with 6 rounds of 1 game each for qualifying rounds. Top 8 (if this is less than half of the total) will compete in three game elimination rounds to determine the winner. The final three games will take place on Venom ONLY! The remaining players can opt to play in the runner up 3 strikes final to shuffle their results.
Entry fee is $9 + $1 IFPA FEE plus coin-drop.
Tournament details:
Registration and warm up 12-1pm sharp.Tournament: 1pm.
- We are running a MatchPlay tournament using MatchPlay events.
- There will probably be 8-9 machines in use.
- Machines used TBD tournament day.
- Players will be grouped in groups of threes or fours. There will be a qualifier of 6 separate rounds of one match. This means every player will play 6 matches in total to qualify for the finals.
- In each round each group will play a single game on a randomly selected machine with Venom being favored.
- Groupings will be random with balanced pairing.
- At the close of the 6th round, the highest ranking players will advance to finals
- Finals are group MatchPlay
- Trophies and cash for 1st, 2nd,and Gift Cards for 3rd and 4th (with consolations)
- Highscore prizes from the Stern Leaderboard in the qualifying rounds
