Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 29, 2023
End of the Year Series - Max Matchplay!
Friday, December 29th
Registration will begin at 6pm
Strikeout begins at 7pm
$5 Entry Fee, $4 to prize pool, $1 to IFPA Fee.
Format: Max Matchplay (12 games) with Group Matchplay Final.
Qualifying: Max Matchplay - similar to the Flipper Frenzy format, but everyone will play the same number of games instead of being timed. New matches will be started in intervals when several players are finished and waiting for their next match. At the end of qualifying, the top 4 or a minimum of 10% will play a Group Matchplay Final.
Final: Top 4 will play a Group Matchplay Final. 3 games, using PAPA scoring (4,2,1,0). Top seed will be allowed to choose the first game and position. Lowest finisher will be allowed choice of game OR order in the next game. Not allowed to play the same game 2 times in a round. Only ties for finals and for 1st place will be broken. Highest seed will get selection in a tie breaker. Seeding tie breakers will be played on Bally Star Trek.
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
