TPL meets on the first Saturday of the month and each session covers a 6 month period. The first 5 months is a set of 8 machines and everyone plays one time for score. The 6th month is another set of 8 machines and then a playoff. The Playoff is the top 4 players from the combined session, dropping the lowest 2 events for each player. Top place picks game or order, and the picks continue to 4th place player if needed. A game is played and bottom score is eliminated. A 3 player game is arranged in the same method, with the top score from the 4 player game getting first choice and moving down the line. Bottom score drops out. A 2 player game is arranged and that determines the winner.
Games played. 8 games per month, top 4 of 6 months count towards finals, 32 games. Finals is 2 games, 1.5 games, 1 game for the ladder format starting with 4 players. 4.5 for finals. 36.5 total for 37 games after rounding.
