Round 1: 5 machines in 2 groups (teams of maximum 3; grouping is based on world ranking); best 16 from each group progress, eliminated players from the GCS final join in teams of two, tournament organisers decide on group allocation, end of the first round is at the start of the main final.
Round 2: Best 32 players play ping pong in groups of 4 on 3 machines, best 2 players advance, tiebreaker 3 balls on the eight ball, high score
Round 3: Best 16 players play ping pong in groups of 4 on 3 devices, best 2 advance, tiebreaker 3 balls on the eight ball, high score
Round 4: Best 8 players play ping pong in groups of 4 on 3 devices, best 2 continue, tiebreaker 3 balls on the eight ball, high score
