This is the second annual "NOVA Knockout" pinball tournament, held in Fairfax, VA. For the 2014 year we have roughly the same Brackelope knockout format as last year, albeit with a slight variation on game lineup and hopefully an even smoother flow than last time.

MAIN TOURNAMENT DETAILS:

- Three-strikes knockout style tournament done via Brackelope.
- $15 entry fee.
- All main tournament proceeds will be handed out to the top three winners.
- The game lineup (up from the three last year, so hopefully things will run faster this year): The Rolling Stones (Stern, 2011, Pro), Eight Ball (Bally, 1977), Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb, 1986), Jokerz! (Williams, 1988), and Ripley's Believe it or Not! (Stern, 2004). Game lineup will potentially change before the tournament, but if it does I will post an update here.
- Main tournament starts at 2PM sharp. Doors open at 12PM for practice and sign-ups.

SIDE TOURNAMENT:
- POWER Eight Ball! Just like last year, we will be slapping a ceramic pin ball into the Eight Ball machine. This changes things quite a bit and puts a fun twist on a classic game.
- Players will play for their highest score(s). The top four players/scores will duke it out in a four-player finals match.
- All side tournament proceeds will be divided out to the four final participants
- $3 entry fee. Cut-off point for side tournament ticket sales will be 8:00 PM. We need to make sure all tickets are played and the side finals are finished prior to 11PM to avoid the complex's towing rules.

THINGS OF NOTE:
- Doors open at 12PM, main tournament starts at 2PM sharp.
- 24 PLAYER CAP. I don't want to resort to pre-sale tickets, and I will likely allow an extra person or two in, but please, PLEASE get in contact with me if you plan on attending. We had roughly 24 players last year, and any more would have made things pretty uncomfortable (this is being hosted in a fairly small apartment). I don't want to have to boot people at the last minute, so please contact me so I can have a good idea of who is planning on coming (email: austinmackert@gmail.com).
