Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 13, 2014
Meet other pinballers and play in a tournament and try to beat the machines! Registering for the event is required over at http://register.batcitypinball.org/ Since we had 16 players, we hit the maximum bracket size and have since expanded to 22-24 players going forward so that we dont have to turn people away. It is imperative that you register ahead of time.
The format of the tournament is a single-elimination bracket with head-to-head matches on one machine, and the best score of three 2-player games will advance to the next round.
We are now utilizing IFPA rankings to determine seedings and bye placements in the bracket. IFPA rankings reflect skill and experience of players that have participated in IFPA events in the past. By utilizing these rankings, we can place in what we think is a fair placement in the bracket with better ranked players appearing later in the bracket. When you register, your IFPA profile will be pulled up based on your name and/or email from your Google or Facebook profile and youll be given a chance to correct your IFPA profile. If you do not have one, we create one for you, but youll need to arrive during the check-in time to make sure we have your information correct.
Registration is capped at 22 players so that we can finish the tournament at a reasonable hour. Check-in starts at 7:00PM. Match-play starts at 7:30PM.

Players are randomly seeded into a single elimination bracket.
Players face each other in a best 2 of 3 on a randomly selected machine.
Every 2nd Monday of the month.
