Tournament Date: March 23, 2024
Group Matchplay comp on the day – Saturday 23 March 2024
The event will kick off at 11 am
**Note this event is by invitation only**
Timed Group Matchplay starts at 11 am and finishes at 5pm.
Qualifying – each round will have 2 games each round, and no more rounds to be started after 5pm.
Round pairing will be balanced pairing - an attempt will be made to pair players with random opponents they haven't faced before.
Scoring system: IFPA (7/5/3/1) for 4 player groups (7/4/1) for 3 player groups.
Tiebreaker: Ties will only be broken for entry into the semifinal and final.
The finals will consist of the top 8.
Semi Final - players will be seeded into two groups with the top two players from each group going through to the final. Each group will play 2 elimination finals with placings awarded 7/5/3/1 with the top 2 players from each group going through to the final (Semi may be run in chaos (concurrent) format).
Final – Similar to semi-finals, the final four players will play in one group (4 different games) to decide final placings awarded 7/5/3/1 for each game. The final may be run as concurrent games.
ENTRY FEE: $16 ($15 into the prize pool, the $1 IFPA\Aus Champ fee)
The cash pool will be split between the top 8.

Private residence. Invited players will be given the address the week before located - South Tuggeranong, Canberra ACT.
Please bring snacks & drinks (BYO) but a sausage sizzle will be provided around 1pm.
All IFPA rules apply as this is a sanctioned event (pending approval)
