Monongah Open Play Pinball Tournament
Saturday, November 1, 2014
To begin exactly 30 minutes after IFPA "Flip Off Hunger" Tournament (which preceeds it and begins at 10am sharp).
Tournament will be held at the Monongah Volunteer Fire Department, 134 Bridge Street in Monongah, WV.
Part of the "West Virginia Wild Wonderful Whopper Weekend" series of pinball tournaments.
Registration is $5 per entrant with all proceeds going in to the prize pool for the tournament.
Machines will be on coin drop.
Players are asked to pre-register, but "walk-ins" will be allowed to play in this tournament (but not in the preceding "Flip Off Hunger" Tournament).
YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR THIS TOURNAMENT UNTIL YOUR ENTRY FEE HAS BEEN RECEIVED! Send your payment via PayPal AS A GIFT to: asreppert@hotmail.com or you can pay ($5) at the door on the day of the tournament.
Keep in mind that if you are planning to participate in the Friday Night "Monongah Periodic Tournament" ($5 entry) and/or the "IFPA Flip Off Hunger Tournament" ($10 entry, scheduled 10am sharp on the day of this tourney), your fees should all be sent together in one payment.
This will be an "Open Qualifying Tournament" using the Best Game format. Tentatively there will be a bank of eight machines to be used in the Tournament. Players may qualify on games as many times as they want, with their best score being the only one kept toward qualifying. Players must play at least one game on four of the different machines present. Players will then be ranked based upon the cumulative total score from all games played (100 points for 1st place, 90 for 2nd place, 85 for 3rd place, one less point total for every progressive place from 4th place on down).
FINAL QUALIFYING ORDER WILL REPRESENT THE FINAL TOURNAMENT STANDINGS.
Prize pool payout will be as follows:
First Place Finisher--50%
Second Place Finisher--25%
Third Place Finisher--15%
Fourth Place Finisher--10%
This tournament is being held as an IFPA Sanctioned Annual Event with full WPPRs awarded to participants.
