Tournament Overview
Start Date: March 16, 2024
End Date: March 17, 2024
Win the Leprechaun's Gold on St. Patrick's Day at the Texas Pinball Festival! This tournament will cost $5 to participate in; $2 to the prize fund, $2 to the NTX Community food Pantry in The Colony, TX, and $1 for the IFPA sanctioning fee. This tournament will take place near the Seminar Rooms OUTSIDE of the main TPF event space. QUALIFYING for this tournament begins Saturday at 9AM and ends Saturday at 9PM. Finals will be Sunday at 9AM.
QUALIFYING Saturday 3/16: Visit the NTX Pinball booth on SATURDAY and pay $5 to play a 3 game card from a selection of 9 or 10 available games. Players will play a single player game on each of the 3 selections, notifying a tournament director before and after starting an attempt. The tournament director will record the resulting score in matchplay.events. Players will be ranked in the tournament based on the success of ALL THREE of their games. Players may choose to VOID or SUBMIT their card. The latest card submitted by the player is considered the player's valid and prevailing card, even if a previous card offered the player a better standing. As such, it's important that players choose to submit or void their card carefully.
FINALS Sunday 3/17: Finals will be on St. Patrick's Day. The top 32 players will have an opportunity to play in the finals to "WIN THE LEPRECHAUN'S GOLD!" These 32 players will participate in a 3 STRIKE FINALS, with 2 strikes in a 4 player group and 2 strikes in a 3 player group as well. Trophies will be awarded for the top 4. We will decide as a majority vote on the prize fund Sunday.
- Option 1: only the winner of finals receives money.
- Option 2: Top 4 receive money (50%, 35%, 15%, $3, with percentages less $3 for 4th place).
NOTE: If we have a tie for any of the top 4, we will play 1 additional game to determine final standings, payouts, and trophies.
Thanks for your interest and thanks for helping us raise money for the NTX Community Food Pantry! GOOD LUCK and PLAY WELL!
