The Sternament Side Ternamint

Summary: Best Game format on 5 modern Sterns, all 5 games count, unlimited attempts within the 2 hours of qualifying time. Top 4 players go to a 4-player, one game final. The player who finished 1st in qualifying will choose which modern Stern to use for the final game.

This is a side event for the "Goddamn That Demo Man Left Ramp Anyway" tournament held at The Department of Pinball and Gaming Redundancy Department. Your entry fee for the Main event covers your participation in this side event.

There are 5 modern Stern Insider Connected machines in the house. We're going to use them all in a Best Game format, and we will be using an Insider Connected local high score board to track the scores.

Log in on any modern Stern during the qualifying hours. Your score is recorded on the local high score board automatically. You will want to play all 5 machines and put up as high a score as you can on all of them. Unlimited attempts, and only your highest score on each game counts.

If you are the top score on a game, you earn 100 points. 2nd place is 90 points, 3rd place is 80 points, and so on, down to 10 points for 10th place. 11th place and beyond scores zero.

Qualifying is from 9pm-11pm. Qualifying ends at 11pm sharp, and only games completed by 11pm will count.

At 11pm, the top 4 players by points will move on to a one game 4 player final. The highest seed in qualifying will choose which of the 5 modern Sterns will be played for the final game. Any ties during qualifying will be broken with 1 ball on a game of the directors choosing.

The winner of "The Sternament Side Ternamint" will get paid the same amount as 2nd place in the main event, 20% of the total prize pool for the night.
