MAIN Tournament


Qualification
The main tournament can accommodate a maximum of 312 players.

On Friday, players can qualify in 1 time slot
Slot 1 19:00 - 22:00
On Saturday, players can qualify in 3 time slots
Slot 2 10:00 - 13:00
Slot 3 13:15 - 16:15
Slot 4 16:30 - 19:30

We will try to accommodate the preferred time slot as much as possible when assigning the schedule. In case of deviations, timely contact will be made.

We had an additional time slot Saturday night; that one was taken out, because it conflicted with IFPA rules (same time as the Classic finals). We will contact all players that were in that time slot around 3th September for another time slot.

In each time slot 78 players participate. Each time slot consists of 6 groups of 13 players.
In each group, all participants play against each other, with the highest-ranked player based on the IFPA ranking as of October 1th 2024 playing second.
The top 2 players from each group qualify for the Sunday finals.
Player 3 from each group has a shoot-out; 1 game, 3 balls. Top 16 (out of 24 players) qualify for the Sunday finals. 17th place is the 1st on the waiting list for the finals.

There are no byes in the first round on Sunday.

In the event of a tie in the qualifications, the head-to-head result is considered first. If that does not provide a clear outcome, a shoot-out on one machine will follow, designated by the tournament officials. This will be the same in case of a tie during the finals.
