Tournament Announcement: European Showdown at Riverside Game Lab

"John Wick went to Europe to fulfill a blood oath, and now it’s your turn!"

Celebrate the launch of Stern Pinball's John Wick machine with an intense, action-packed European-style tournament at Riverside Game Lab. Inspired by John Wick’s trip to Rome in Chapter 2, this event will bring the same level of high-stakes competition—minus the assassins, of course!

Format:
Participant-Based Format Determination System (PBFDS)
The tournament structure will adapt based on attendance, just like Wick adapts to any mission:

Under 36 participants:
McWopke’s H2H Real Swiss Pairing, powered by an old Windows executable with TrueSwiss technology.
H2H Bracketed Finals.
Rounds and A/B division qualifications will be set after registration.

36 or more participants:
Group Match Play (Balanced Pairing, 7/5/3/1 scoring).
H2H Bracketed Finals.
Rounds and A/B division qualifications will be finalized after registration.

Schedule:
Doors Open: 3:00 PM
Tournament Starts: 4:00 PM
(Due to the format, late arrivals may not be accommodated.)

Entry Fee:
$1 entry fee (IFPA fees covered by $1 per player entry)

Prizes:
Stern Army Grand Champion Plaque for the 1st place winner in Division A, worthy of Wick himself!

Cash Payouts (after fees) for the top 4 finishers:
40% / 30% / 20% / 10%
(Adjustments based on final attendance)

Admin Notes:
The organizer does not receive proceeds from coin drop, food, or drink sales.
All remaining proceeds go directly to supporting this event and the players.
