Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: November 26, 2024
Ruth and I volunteer every month at the Elgin PADS homeless shelter. We cook and serve a meal for about 30-40 people. Ruth had the idea to create a charity tourney in 2022 that we do annually each year. In 2022 we raised over $2000 in money and supplies, and in 2023 we raised $4500! This will be a standard 4 round matchplay qualifier tourney with a top 16 single game elimination playoffs. In the playoffs high seed will get choice of game or order. Players cannot choose a game more than once in the playoffs, and cannot queue for a game. Tourney entry will be $5 and 100% of entry fees will go towards Elgin PADS. I will be sponsoring the IFPA fees for this event. I willl also be purchasing plaques for the top 4 finishers. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each and you can buy as many as you want. Raffle tickets will be the only way to win all of the raffle prizes we'll be drawing for all night. You can also win more than once! We'll be raffling off various merchandise from pinball manufacturers including shirts, hats, translites, banners, playfields, and more! We are also happy to accept direct donations of cash or items from the Elgin PADS wishlist, available here:
