Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 28, 2024
This is the signup and information page for PFC WPPR Festivus, likely one of the last chances in 2024 to earn big WPPR points before the Provincials are locked in!
The tournament will take place on Saturday December 28th at Maple Pinball. Doors at 10 AM, the tournament will start at 11 AM.
Cost of the tournament is $40. This includes a $20 donation in support of the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, $1 IFPA Fee and $19 Host/Food fee. Food will be delivered at 1:00 pm. Maple has a water cooler for drinks, and we would appreciate you bringing a refillable bottle to cut down on waste or BYOB.
Tournament format is Max Match Play, with 22 games being played by each player. Playoffs will be 3 game group matchplay, with points being awarded 4-2-1-0, and the top 2 in each 4 player group moving on to the next round. Qualifiers will be done in multiples of 4, up to 32 (if we get 64 players), at a maximum of 50% of the field.
Standard PAPA tournament and conduct rules apply.
If everything works out according to plan and we get enough players, this tournament should be worth somewhere between 40-50 WPPR points, a pretty big deal if you're trying to make provincials. Or even if you're just trying to have fun.
Everyone who fills out the registration form will receive an email by the Wednesday before the tournament with all relevant details.
