Tournament Date: December 23, 2024
Who needs a break ;)
Entry fee is $1, plus white elephant gift ($10 or less). At the end of qualifying, those not moving to the finals will select a gift (starting with the lowest qualifying position). As the players competing in the finals are out, they will select a gift.
Group Matchplay from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with quick finals to follow.
Format for this event will be a balanced pairing, Timed Group Matchplay, using IFPA scoring. Each qualifying round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing one game, using IFPA (7,5,3,1) scoring. The last round will begin no later than 8:30pm. After the final game is finished, the top 50% (8 or less, depending on number of players) will move on to a Group Matchplay Final.
Finals- Group Matchplay, one game per round. Top two from each group will advance, bottom two are eliminated. Top seed in each group gets a choice of available game or position.
