This is my 2nd annual event and if successful hopefully this will happen every year at this time. Last year it was very successful and I hope this year will be just as good or better. I will have support and help from several players from FSPA league. My plan is to hold a main three strike Tournament, and two side Tournaments. The side Tournaments will be one EM and the other will be a classic. All tournaments will be IFPA sanctioned with WPPR points awarded based on new rules.
The date is Saturday January 31st, 2015. The main tournament will start at 2 PM and end whenever. Side tournament will start same time as the main Tournament. The side Tournament games will not be in the main Tournament so as you get knocked out you can do your side Tournaments. Doors will open at noon.
Food and drink (soda’s and ice tea) will be available during both events. BYOB.
The main tournament may be limited to 36 players, please reserve your spot. The side tournament is open to all players.
TOURNAMENTS
MAIN:
The main Tournament will be three strikes and you’re out. It will be conducted on games not in the side tournament. I hope to have 10+ games in the Tournament, depend on working condition.
Notes: No extra balls, extra balls should be turned off but any extra balls will be plunged.
Possible games for main Tournament:
EM’s - Williams 8 ball, Royal Flush, Sunset
Classics – Sharpshooter, Paragon, Black Knight, Eight Ball Deluxe, Mata Hari, Jungle Lord, Jacks to Open.
Newest – Wizard of OZ, Lord of the Rings, Dr Who, Star Wars EP1.
If I get my Medieval Madness by then it will also be it the Tournament.
Games for fun – Ace High, Cross Town, Big Hurt & Short Stop (pitch & bat game)
SIDE:
The plan is to have the EM side Tournament played on TEACHERS PET. 2 entries maximum
The plan is to have the classic side Tournament played on BALLY’S STAR TREK. 2 entries maximum
Top 2 scores get paid. No duplicates, 4 players will get paid.
FEES AND PAYOUTS
MAIN:
Main Tournament will be $35.00 ($30.00 prize fund & $5.00 for food)
All ticket fees get paid out. 50% 30% 15% 5% rounded off.
SIDE
$5.00 per entry – 2 entries maximum.
All fees are paid out. 75% 25% rounded off.
