Tournament Date: March 14, 2025
Join us for another DSE production at the Palm Springs on Burnside, as we celebrate Pi Day with pie and pinball!
Format: new format, Pace Matchplay! This plays like a combination of group matchplay and strikes. All players will be guaranteed 5 rounds of group matchplay. After round 5, the pace will be set! Any players who are at 20 points or above will continue on to round 6. For each round following the initial pace marker, the pace line will increase by 7. Ex: after round 6, players must have more than 27 points to continue to round 7! With the nature of this new format, the DSE TD's will provide discretion at the establishment of the pace line if a playoff will be necessary.
Entry: $6, ($1 going to the IFPA)
Bring a PIE to celebrate this fabulous mathematical day, and your IFPA fee will be covered by DSE!
EB's: 1 flip (no action button!) once the ball is in motion
Prizes: The top 3 open finalists and highest placing player outside of the IFPA Global Rank 2K + 4 or under PDX rating will receive cash prizes. Other prizes provided by Low Bar are available to the podium and all other participants!
