Event 2 MPC Match Play Main event – Friday & Saturday
April 25 @ 7:00 pm - April 26 @ 11:00 pm CDT
$50
– Qualifying – 10 rounds, 2 games per round 5 rounds Friday 7pm-11pm, 5 rounds Saturday 10am-2pm . Saturday playoffs (4pm – 11pm)

– 10 rounds of 4-player groups 2 games per round (20 games in total)

– Tiered swiss pairing

– 250% WPPR estimate

Playoffs: Saturday starts approximately @ 4pm. Estimated to be done around 11pm

-Top 24 in A Division and top 4 get paid. Top winner gets trophy

– Top 16 get prize money and Top 8 Get hardware

– B division (eligible): top 4 players after top 24 (players ranked 1-1500 as of May 24 not eligible for B division). Winner gets hardware

– After qualifying is done, if two or more players are tied for final playoff spot(s), they will play a one-game playoff (random game & order) to determine seeding. This will take place immediately when qualifying ends.

– players tied for seed will be broken by most 1st and 2nd

– Players will play 3 games per round with 4-2-1-0 scoring, with the top 2 players advancing to the next round. Top seed picks game and order of 1st game (lowest score of playoff game gets choice of order for next game in that bank). A player cannot pick the same game once it has been picked until final 4 where then the final group will start fresh again

– If there’s a tie after 4 games to advance or any spot 1st-4th place overall, top seed will have a choice of order on the tie-breaker machine.

This MatchPlay event is included with the Weekend package purchase. If you’d like this tournament only, cost is $50.
