I'm planning a Pinball Tournament for fun in my home arcade!
This is just for FUN - come over, bring a plus-one, and come plays some pinball and arcade games! No experience necessary - no competition required (but some will want to compete). I'm inviting locals who I think would enjoy the event and would like the social element, too.
For those with International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) membership, it will be rated so we'll need 16 players minimum. I am not charging for the event, and I am not having a cash prize - this is for friendly competition and FUN! I will have most if not all pinball games working as tournament machines, and the arcade games will be on, as well. I'm placing it out a few weeks to gauge interest - the party starts at 5:00 PM and we'll begin competing at 6:00 PM sharp. Tournament rules are simple - you play the game you're assigned in your bracket and see how you place among the other players in that round. We'll be using some software to track progress and it will tell players which machine they're on. I'll have some pizzas delivered and beers on hand, but if you want to bring something let's make that happen! I'll have more updates as people are invited and sign up to play.
