Time:10:00AM SHARP START TIME (practice from 9:00am to 9:45am)
Cost: $50 for MEMBERS of the DPC. NON-MEMBERS may also purchase tickets, but a $25 guest fee will be charged either in advanced or at the door.
FORMAT:
4 rounds (3 games per round - One modern and one classic and one between) of 4-player match play qualifying. Top 16 make "A" finals. There may be a consolation game for the remaining players.
FINALS FORMAT:
"A" division will play an Amazing Race Finals
THE DRAWING
The drawing will take place on Saturday after the tournament. Using a random selection process, one winner will be chosen from all submitted entries. The winning name will be submitted to the Pinburgh authorities, and their entry to Pinburgh 2025 will be confirmed. The winner does not need to be present, although they must have attended the tournament. The drawing will take place at the end of qualifying so that those who did not make the finals may leave.
HOW TO ACQUIRE ENTRIES
For attending the tournament, an entry to the drawing is earned. Reaching ‘A’ Finals will earn a drawing entry. The winner of each group in each round will win an entry.
Each participant will also be able to purchase up to 3 additional drawing entries at a cost of $25 each entry for non-members and $20 each for members.
DRAWING ELIGIBILITY
Every participant may earn and purchase entries to the drawing, but any person who already has an entry to Pinburgh 2025 is NOT ELIGIBLE to win the drawing. If their name is drawn, that person awarded $50, and a new name is selected. The drawing will continue until an eligible person is selected. The prize is NON-TRANSFERRABLE once awarded. If the person who wins the Pinburgh 2025 ticket cannot attend, they will be given the cash value of the ticket ($350) by the Pinburgh organizers, as long as they contact Pinburgh within 7 days of the draw. The ticket CANNOT be sold or transferred to anyone.
•When an entry is earned, that entry is assigned the name of a person who is attending the tournament.
•When an entry is purchased, that entry can be assigned the name of any person who is attending the tournament. It does not need to be the name of the person who purchased the ticket. This allows a person or group who already has Pinburgh 2025 tickets, and is therefor ineligible to win the drawing, to increase the chance of winning of another attendee who is eligible.
