Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: May 16, 2025

Format: Matchplay best game format on the modify decay scoring system for qualifying; top 4 qualify for the finals which are head to head. If 17 or more attend, we would expand the finals to top 8.

There will be three games played. You get two plays on each game; each game you play counts to the modify decay system and gives you points (so it is not one best game per machine, but rather two). This means there are six meaningful games in the qualifying round.

The top 4 (or top 8 if we have 17 or more attendees) will qualify for the finals. There will be one four player game played, with last place dropping out and finishing 4th. Then there will be a three player game played with last place dropping out and finishing 3rd. Then there will be a final head to head game played for first and second place. Should there be 17 or more attendees and we go to an 8 person final; there will be two tracks of four players following the same format and the two groups will get re-merged into a new group of four once they are down to two.

No trophies, but we have a championship belt that the winner gets to take photos with after the tourney (they may not depart with the belt, it stays with the house).

General Notes:
Entry Fee: $5
Kids may attend: No
May we bring drinks: Yes
We try and accommodate special needs as best we can, let us know what difficulties you may have and we will do what we can to accommodate you. Machines are upstairs but there is also a bathroom upstairs.
Number of meaningful games: 10
