Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 13, 2025
Our second Sunday monthly tournaments are 5 rounds of group matchplay, and a 3 game finals for the top four players (possible change to playoff format if more than 40 players join). All competitors will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Slingshot Pinball swag or the grand prize, a Stern translite! (Thank you Stern Army!)
Location: Slingshot Pinball, 460 Lincoln Ave, #70, San Jose, CA
Schedule: 12 PM: Registration, 1 PM: Competition begins! Slingshot Pinball opens at noon, so you can come play and warm up before the tournament. The tournament is estimated to last around 5 hours.
Tournament style:
* Tournament format will be five (5) rounds of group match play. Finals round for the Top Four Players.
* Tie breakers to determine who advances to finals will be a 1 ball game on Stranger Things, or another machine if Stranger Things is out of service.
Entry Fee: $10 to enter! $1 from each entry fee is paid to the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA).
Prizes: Cash payouts for the top 4 finalists (40%, 30%, 20%, 10% of the collected prize money respectively), and all of our participants will be entered into a raffle for fun Stern Army or Slingshot Pinball swag! The raffle is held after the initial 4 rounds of tournament play, but before the final 3 rounds. Must be present to win.
All ages and skill levels are welcome! There is a maximum of 40 competitors. Slingshot Pinball will also be open to the public so please share the space!
**Tournament director reserves the right to refuse entry to the tournament when deemed necessary
