TOURNEY FORMAT:
We are using a new-to-Charlottesville format called Max Matchplay, which is very similar to the older Flipper Frenzy format. This is the format that COTU has been using at their monthly Monday night tourneys for the last couple years and it's FUN! You don't have to wait on rounds to complete and you are guaranteed exactly three hours of play, instead of guessing how long you might be playing for! It keeps you more engaged and lets you plan your day better. Everyone will play about 12 head-to-head games. There will be a short queue of players waiting for a game, and as games finish, the queue progresses. After the end of 3 hours and everyone having played the same number of games, winners will be determined by their win-loss record. IFPA-Sanctioned.
