Cleveland Pinball League is a fun and friendly group for players of all ages and skill levels
Season 26 begins July 8!
6 week regular season followed by divisional Playoffs Weekend for cash and trophies
Schedule: (pick one meet per week)
Tuesdays - 8pm at Pinball Planet (Top 8 sub-league playoffs Tues August 19 - 7pm)
Wednesdays - 8pm at Superelectric (Top 8 sub-league playoffs Weds August 20 - 7pm)
Sundays - 1pm at Superelectric (Top 8 sub-league playoffs Sun August 17 - 3pm)
League format is Group Match Play
At each meet, groups of 4 players compete on 4 machines
Scoring is 5/3/2/1 for each game
The first two weeks are random groupings and the rest of the season groups are made by current standings
There is one drop week allowed per season, so your best 5 weeks count toward your overall season standings
CPL operates as 3 sub-leagues on 3 days of the week, all under the umbrella of Cleveland Pinball League.
IFPA reporting is based on each sub-league which will culminate with playoffs for the top 8 in each to become the sub-league champion
Sub-League Playoffs are 2 rounds of PAPA format group elimination
Ties to make playoffs will be broken with a tiebreaker game at the end of the Week 6 meet
This format grades out at 200% TGP
SEASON 26 PLAYOFFS WEEKEND
August 23 & 24 at Pinball Planet
All players who attend at least 5 of 6 weeks are eligible to compete for trophies and cash prizes
A, B and C Divisions will play in a PAPA format 4-player group bracket
D Division will play in a 3-strike Knockout
Cash Prizes to the Top 8 in each division
Trophies to the Top 4 in each division
Saturday March 22 - B Division at Noon / A Division at 4pm
Sunday March 23 - D Division at Noon / C Division at 3pm
A Division Playoffs submitted separately to IFPA as a League Final. Lower divisions are not eligible for additional WPPRs
Play at least 5 of the 6 weeks to be eligible for playoffs and to be entered into our annual pinball machine raffle. Each season played over the calendar year gets you an additional entry into the raffle which will take place at the end of the year!
Registration is $20 for the full season
Entry fees are used in full toward cash prizes, trophies, IFPA fees and other player-focused expenses
Players are responsible for the weekly game costs (coin drop at Pinball Planet, $8 flat fee at Superelectric)
