Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: August 19, 2025

Welcome to Week 2 of 4 for Toad Rats – Path to IFPA Rating!

Path to Rated is a weekly pinball tournament series designed to help new players get started in competitive play and earn their official IFPA rating. If you’re new to IFPA events or just returning to the scene, this is a fun, low-pressure way to jump in and start earning WPPR points before our 10-week league kicks off in September.

Each event uses group match play with 4-player groups when possible. Players will play 5 games per night using IFPA scoring (7-5-3-1). Week 1 groups are seeded randomly.

Starting in Week 2, groupings will be seeded based on performance from the previous week:

1st place finishers move up a tier

4th place finishers move down

2nd and 3rd place stay in the same general group level

This light ladder format helps match players with others of similar skill over time, keeping the competition balanced and fun. There are no finals — standings are based on total points earned in match play each week.

Entry is $10, which covers all-day play on the machines. So feel free to come by early and warm up.
Start time is 7:00 PM sharp and ends ~ 9 PM or until finished

This series is open to all skill levels, but especially welcoming for new players who are working toward their IFPA rating (requires 5 sanctioned events). Join us for any or all weeks — it's a great way to improve your play, meet local players, and get involved in the competitive pinball scene.
