How to Qualify:

There will be 3 ways to qualify for the 2025/26 IFPA Women's ACS.

1) BPAC 2025 - Women's Tournament winner
The winner of the 2025 BPAC Women's Championship in Brisbane in July will earn the right to contest the Women's ACS Finals.

In the event that the winner cannot attend the Women's ACS event, this spot will be offered to the next in line, down to fourth spot (if required).

2) State Qualifiers
The Top 2 ranked players based on the best 15 results from within each IFPA Registered State/Territory will automatically qualify for the field of 24.

This includes the following:
A.C.T., N.S.W., Qld, S.A., Tas, Vic and W.A.

As per the BPAC Women's tournament result above, this spot for each state will be offered down to fourth in line (if required).

Should the BPAC Women's or State Qualifier spots not be filled, they will be returned to the At-Large pool

3) Highest Rankings for 2025
The minimum 9 remaining spots will then be filled from the At-Large pool, which will be based on the next 9 players on most ranking points earned from their best 15 results in 2025.

Spots will be offered to each player next in line, until the field of 24 players is filled.

PLEASE NOTE that rankings points will include both OPEN and WOMEN'S only events throughout the 2025 calendar year.

Women's ACS Finals Format:

Once all 24 finalists have been confirmed, all players will be seeded according to their ranking points earned from their best 15 events from the 2025 calendar year.

The 24 players will be split into 2 groups of 12 players, and a series of Group Matchplay rounds will be played in each group. Each pool will play approximately 5 rounds of 2 games (time permitting), with the Top 6 players in each group advancing to a Group Matchplay final. Top 2 players in each group will receive a first round bye.

In the event of a tie for 2nd or 6th place in either group, a single-game tie-breaker will be contested to break the tie.

Finals:
All 12 players will be re-seeded according to the number of points earned during qualifying and then split according to original qualifying seed for any ties.

Finals will be contested as a 3-game Group Matchplay, with the Top 2 players in each group advancing to the next round. The player with the highest points earned in the final round will be declared the 2025/26 Women's ACS Champion.
