Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 12, 2019
The format of the tournament is as follows:
Players will be randomly (balanced system) assigned 4-player groups in each round for 7 rounds of match play. Each round consists of one 4-player game on a randomly selected machine. Players will be awarded either 7, 5, 3, or 1 points depending on whether they finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in each game (7/4/1 for 3 players groups).
24 players will make finals, TOP 16 in the A finals and an additional 8 eligible in B finals. Players are be eligible if ranked 300 and higher in IFPA on the day of the tournament.
The top 16 players will advance to a PAPA style finals round with the top 2 players from each group advancing. Same format for the B finals. Cash and hardware prizes TBD
Emerald City Cup will start promptly at 2PM PST. The price of the tournament is $25 per person + coin drop.
